Providing shelters, support, and hope to Reno’s homeless community

A $250,00 grant and conveyed land was approved for the City Counsel of Reno to create a bridge housing community called “Hope Springs.” Out West Buildings partnered with Northern Nevada HOPES to build a 3,200 square-foot facility with 30-unit shelters to help battle homelessness in the community of Reno, Nevada. HOPES provides bridge housing and resources for primary health care, behavioral health, case management, and a pharmacy. The shelters provide privacy, safety and security to individuals with the efficiency of shared resources like kitchens, laundry rooms, and bathrooms.
